L'Herbergement is a French commune with a population of 3,175 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of La Roche-sur-Yon and the canton of Rocheservière ; from 2015 the canton was dissolved and merged into the canton of Aizenay . The inhabitants are called hostel mementais .
geography
L'Herbergement is located about 25 kilometers north-northeast of La Roche-sur-Yon . L'Herbergement is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montaigu-Vendée in the north and north-east, Les Brouzils in the east and south-east, Saint-Sulpice-le-Verdon in the south-west and Montréverd in the west and north-west.
