Vendrennes is a French village with 1,721 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of La Roche-sur-Yon and the canton of Montaigu (until 2015: canton of Les Herbiers ). The inhabitants are called Vendrennais .

Vendrennes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mesnard-la-Barotière in the north, Les Herbiers in the northeast, Mouchamps in the east and southeast, L'Oie in the south, Sainte-Florence in the south and southwest, and Saint-André-Goule-d'Oie in the west and Saint-Fulgent in the north-west.
