La Rabatelière is a French municipality with 989 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of La Roche-sur-Yon and is part of the canton of Montaigu (until 2015: canton of Saint-Fulgent ).

La Rabatelière is located about 45 kilometers south-southeast of Nantes and about 24 kilometers northeast of La Roche-sur-Yon . La Rabatelière is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chavagne-en-Palliers in the north and west, Saint-André-Goule-d'Oie in the east and Chauché in the south.
The A83 autoroute runs through the municipality .
