Montréverd is a French village with 3,700 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire ; it is part of the arrondissement of La Roche-sur-Yon and the canton of Aizenay . The inhabitants are called Montréverdois .

Montréverd was formed as Commune nouvelle on January 1, 2016 from the municipalities of Mormaison , Saint-André-Treize-Voies and Saint-Sulpice-le-Verdon .

Montréverd is about 20 kilometers south-southeast of Nantes and about 29 kilometers north of La Roche-sur-Yon . Montréverd is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vieillevigne in the north, Montaigu-Vendée in the northeast, L'Herbergement in the east, Les Brouzils in the east and southeast, Saint-Denis-la-Chevasse in the south and southeast, Les Lucs-sur-Boulogne in the southwest as well Rocheservière to the west.
