The Canton Aizenay is a French constituency in the district of La Roche-sur-Yon , in Vendée and the region Pays de la Loire ; its main town (chef-lieu) is Aizenay .
history
From 1790 to 1801 there was already a canton of Aizenay. This consisted of the communities Aizeny and Venansault . The current canton of Aizenay was created when the French cantons were redistributed in 2015. Its communes come from the former cantons of Le Poiré-sur-Vie (all 8 communes) and Rocheservière (all 6 communes).

The canton is located in the north of the Vendée department and protrudes into the Loire-Atlantique department in the north.
