The District of La Roche-sur-Yon-Sud was a French canton in the district of La Roche-sur-Yon , in Vendée and the region Pays de la Loire ; its main town was La Roche-sur-Yon . Sylviane Bulteau ( PS ) was last representative in the General Council of the Département from 2008 to 2015 .

The canton existed from 1973 to 2015. At that time, the canton of La Roche-sur-Yon was divided into the cantons of La Roche-sur-Yon-Nord and La Roche sur-Yon-Sud.
