Aubigny is a former French commune with last 3,483 inhabitants (2013) in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belonged to the arrondissement of La Roche-sur-Yon and the canton of La Roche-sur-Yon-Sud . The inhabitants are called Aubinois .
With effect from January 1, 2016, the municipalities of Aubigny and Les Clouzeaux were merged to form a commune nouvelle called Aubigny-Les Clouzeaux .
geography
Aubigny is nine kilometers south of La Roche-sur-Yon . The A87 autoroute runs through the area .
