The Sevişler Dam (in Turkish Sevişler Barajı ) is located on the Yağcılı Çayı, a right tributary of the Bakırçay , 8 km north of the district town of Soma in the western Turkish province of Manisa .
The dam was built in the years 1977–1981 for drinking and service water supply . The earthfill dam has a height of 65 m above the foundation level and has a volume of 4.6 million m³. The associated reservoir covers an area of 5.8 km² and has a storage volume of 127 million m³. The dam is used to irrigate an area of 7,000 hectares.
