The Canton of Les Herbiers is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement Fontenay-le-Comte and La Roche-sur-Yon , in Vendée and the region Pays de la Loire ; its main town is Les Herbiers . Véronique Besse ( MPF ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Département since 1998 .

Until the nationwide reorganization of the cantons in March 2015, the canton of Les Herbiers consisted of the eight municipalities of Beaurepaire , Les Epesses , Les Herbiers , Mesnard-la-Barotière , Mouchamps , Saint-Mars-la-Réorthe , Saint-Paul-en-Pareds and Vendrennes . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​294.61 km ² . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 8508.
