La Pommeraie-sur-Sevre is a former French commune with last 1,053 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belonged to the arrondissement Fontenay-le-Comte and the canton Les Herbiers (until 2015: canton Pouzauges ). The inhabitants are called Pommeraisiens .

Since January 1, 2016, Le Pommeraie-sur-Sèvre has merged with the neighboring communities of Les Châtelliers-Châteaumur , La Flocellière and Saint-Michel-Mont-Mercure to form the new community of Sèvremont .

La Pommeraie-sur-Sèvre is located about 52 kilometers east-northeast of La Roche-sur-Yon on the Sèvre Nantaise .
