Sèvremont is a French commune in the Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire ; it is part of the arrondissement Fontenay-le-Comte , the canton Les Herbiers and the communal association Communauté de communes du Pays de Pouzauges . The inhabitants are called Sèvremontains .

Sèvremont was formed as Commune nouvelle on January 1, 2016 from the former municipalities of Les Châtelliers-Châteaumur , La Flocellière , La Pommeraie-sur-Sèvre and Saint-Michel-Mont-Mercure .
