Longèves is a French village with 1,323 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire ; it is part of the arrondissement Fontenay-le-Comte and the canton of Fontenay-le-Comte .
geography
Longèves is located about 22 kilometers west-northwest of Niort and about 40 kilometers east-southeast of La Roche-sur-Yon . Longèves is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sérigné in the north, Pissotte in the northeast, Fontenay-le-Comte in the east, Auzay in the south and Petosse in the west.
