Puyravault is a French municipality with 663 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Vendée in Région Pays de la Loire . Moreilles belongs to the arrondissement of Fontenay-le-Comte and the canton of Luçon (until 2015: canton of Chaillé-les-Marais ). The inhabitants are called Puyravaultais .

location

Puyravault is located about 22 kilometers north-northeast of La Rochelle in the Marais Poitevin at the mouth of the Sèvre Niortaise . Puyravault is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Moreilles in the north, Sainte-Radégonde-des-Noyers in the east, Charron in the south and south-east and Champagné-les-Marais in the west.
