Moreilles is located about 29 kilometers north-northeast of La Rochelle in the Marais Poitevin . Moreilles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sainte-Gemme-la-Plaine in the north, Nalliers in the northeast, Sainte-Radégonde-des-Noyers in the east and southeast, Puyravault in the south and southeast, Champagné-les-Marais in the south and west and Luçon in the Northwest.
