Triaize is a western French municipality with 1010 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire . Triaize belongs to the Arrondissement Fontenay-le-Comte and the Canton of Luçon . The inhabitants are called Triolais .

location

Triaize is located about 26 kilometers north of La Rochelle in the Vendée countryside on the Bay of Aiguillon in the south. Triaize is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Les Magnils-Reigniers in the north, Luçon in the north-east, Champagné-les-Marais in the east, Saint-Michel-en-l'Herm in the west and south-west, and Saint-Denis-du-Pyré in the west and north-west as well as Chasnais in the northwest.
