La Taillée is a French municipality with 581 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Vendée in Région Pays de la Loire . Moreilles belongs to the arrondissement of Fontenay-le-Comte and the canton of Luçon (until 2015: canton of Chaillé-les-Marais ). The inhabitants are called Taillezais .
location
La Taillée is located about 22 kilometers north-northeast of La Rochelle in the Marais Poitevin . The Vendée limits the commune to the east. La Taillée is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Poiré-sur-Velluire in the north and northeast, Velluire in the northeast, Le Gué-de-Velluire in the east, Marans in the south and Vouillé-les-Marais in the west.
