Le Langon is located about 35 kilometers northwest of Niort and about 40 kilometers east-southeast of La Roche-sur-Yon in the Fiefs Vendéens wine-growing region . Le Langon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Petosse in the north and northeast, Auzay in the east and northeast, Le Poiré-sur-Velluire in the east and southeast, La Taillée in the south and southeast, Vouillé-les-Marais in the south, Chaillé-les-Marais in the southwest and Mouzeuil-Saint-Martin in the west.
