Saint-Martin-Lars-en-Sainte-Hermine is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Juire-Champgillon in the north and west, La Caillère-Saint-Hilaire in the north-east, Saint-Laurent-de-la-Salle in the east and south-east and La Chapelle-Thémer in the south and south-east.
