Saint-Jean-de-Beugné is a French municipality with 594 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Fontenay-le-Comte and the canton of La Châtaigneraie (until 2015: canton of Sainte-Hermine ). The inhabitants are called Beugnolais .

Saint-Jean-de-Beugné is located about 30 kilometers east-southeast of La Roche-sur-Yon . Saint-Jean-de-Beugné is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sainte-Pexine in the north, Sainte-Hermine in the north and northeast, Saint-Aubin-la-Plaine in the east and southeast, Sainte-Gemme-la-Plaine in the south, and Corpie in the Southwest and Bessay in the west.
