Saint-Pierre-du-Chemin is about 30 kilometers north-northeast of Fontenay-le-Comte . The Lay flows on the northern edge of the municipality . Saint-Pierre-du-Chemin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Menomblet in the north, La Forêt-sur-Sèvre in the north and north-east, Moutiers-sous-Chantemerle in the east, Breuil-Barret in the south and south-east, La Tardière in the south and south-west, Cheffois in the west and southwest and Réaumur in the west.
