Le Gué-de-Velluire is a French municipality with 544 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Vendée in Région Pays de la Loire . Moreilles belongs to the arrondissement of Fontenay-le-Comte and the canton of Luçon (until 2015: canton of Chaillé-les-Marais ). The inhabitants are called Guétréens .

Le Gué-de-Velluire is located about 29 kilometers north-northeast of La Rochelle in the Marais Poitevin . The Vendée limits the municipality to the west. Le Gué-de-Velluire is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Velluire in the north and northeast, Vix in the east and southeast, L'Île-d'Elle in the south, Marans in the southwest and La Taillée in the northwest.
