Chavagnes-les-Redoux is a French municipality with 828 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement Fontenay-le-Comte and the canton Les Herbiers (until 2015: canton Pouzauges ). The inhabitants are called Chavagnais .
geography
Chavagnes-les-Redoux is located about 35 kilometers east-northeast of La Roche-sur-Yon . The Maine , a tributary of the Lay , limits the community to the south. Chavagnes-les-Redoux is surrounded by the neighboring communities Monsireigne in the north and north-west, La Meilleraie-Tillay in the east and north-east, Tallud-Sainte-Gemme in the south and south-east, Bazoges-en-Pareds in the south and south-west and Sigournais in the west and south-west .
