Champagné-les-Marais is a French commune with 1,772 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vendée in Région Pays de la Loire . Champagné-les-Marais belongs to the Arrondissement of Fontenay-le-Comte and the canton of Luçon (until 2015: canton of Chaillé-les-Marais ). The inhabitants are called champagne relais.

Champagné-les-Marais is located about 24 kilometers north of La Rochelle on the Bay of Auiguillon, part of the Atlantic coast , in the south. Champagné-les-Marais is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Luçon in the north and north-west, Moreilles in the north and north-east, Puyravault in the east and Triaize in the west.
