The Canton Mortagne-sur-Sèvre is a French constituency in the district of La Roche-sur-Yon , in Vendée and the region Pays de la Loire ; its main town is Mortagne-sur-Sèvre . Cécile Barreau and Guillaume Jean (both DVD ) have been representatives in the General Council of the Département since 2015 .

Until the state-wide reorganization of the cantons in March 2015, the canton of Mortagne-sur-Sèvre consisted of the twelve municipalities of Chambretaud , La Gaubretière , La Verrie , Les Landes-Genusson , Mallièvre , Mortagne-sur-Sèvre , Saint-Aubin-des-Ormeaux , Saint-Laurent-sur-Sèvre , Saint-Malô-du-Bois , Saint-Martin-des-Tilleuls , Tiffauges and Treize-Vents . Its layout corresponded to an area of 228.78 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 8515.
