The Reuschbach is an approximately 5 km long brook in the Rhineland-Palatinate Westerwaldkreis , which flows into the Aubach from the left opposite the central Montabaur .

course

The Reuschbach is created by the confluence of the right Feinchesbach , which comes from the west-northwest, and the Quabach , which approaches from the northeast and marks the border between Staudt and Heiligenroth .

The Reuschbach then flows south to south-west through pastureland until it flows into the Schützensee near the Montabäurer industrial area Alter Galgen . Below the lake, it runs almost completely under the A3 and finally flows down from the Montabaur train station and across from the northern residential area of the city from the left into the Aubach , which soon becomes the Gelbach .
