Chaillé-sous-les-Ormeaux is a former French commune with 1,340 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belonged to the arrondissement of La Roche-sur-Yon and the canton of Mareuil-sur-Lay-Dissais . The inhabitants are called Chaillezais .

With effect from January 1, 2016, the communes of Chaillé-sous-les-Ormeaux and Saint-Florent-des-Bois were merged to form a commune nouvelle called Rives de l'Yon .
