Saint-Sulpice-le-Verdon is a former French commune with the last 997 inhabitants (2013) in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belonged to the arrondissement of La Roche-sur-Yon and the canton of Aizenay (until 2015: canton of Rocheservière ). The inhabitants are called Sulpiciens .

With effect from January 1, 2016, the municipalities of Saint-André-Treize-Voies , Mormaison and Saint-Sulpice-le-Verdon were merged into a commune nouvelle called Montréverd .

Saint-Sulpice-le-Verdon is located about 45 kilometers south-southeast of Nantes . The river Ognon has its source in the area.
