Mormaison is a former French commune with last 1,070 inhabitants (as of January 1 2016) in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire ; it belonged to the arrondissement of La Roche-sur-Yon and the canton of Aizenay (until 2015: canton of Rocheservière ). The inhabitants are called Mormaisonnais .

With effect from January 1, 2016, the former municipalities of Mormaison , Saint-André-Treize-Voies and Saint-Sulpice-le-Verdon were merged into a commune nouvelle under the name Montréverd .

Mormaison is about 30 kilometers north of La Roche-sur-Yon on the Issoire .
