Saint-Georges-de-Pointindoux is a French village with 1,668 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Les Sables d'Olonne and the canton of Talmont-Saint-Hilaire (until 2015: canton of La Mothe-Achard ).

Saint-Georges-de-Pointindoux is located about 15 kilometers west-southwest of La Roche-sur-Yon and about 20 kilometers northeast of Les Sables-d'Olonne . Saint-Georges-de-Pointindoux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche in the north, Landeronde in the east, Sainte-Flaive-des-Loups in the south and south-east, Les Achards with La Mothe-Achard in the south and south-west, Saint-Julien-des-Landes to the west and Martinet to the west and northwest.
