Paul Bishop

Paul Bishop (* 1967 ) is a professor of German studies at the University of Glasgow .

life and work

Bishop was best known for research and publications on Friedrich Nietzsche . Otherwise, he worked primarily on the German intellectual history of the modern age, where he was particularly concerned with the philosopher Ludwig Klages and his friend Alfred Schuler . He also presented works on Rainer Maria Rilke , Stefan George and Alfred Kubin .
