Saint-Révérend is a French commune with 1,430 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire . Saint-Révérend belongs to the Arrondissement of Les Sables-d'Olonne and the canton of Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez (until 2015: canton of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie ). The municipality is a member of the Pays de Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie municipal association . The inhabitants are called Révérendais .

Saint-Révérend is close to the Atlantic coast . Saint-Révérend is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Maixent-sur-Vie in the north, Coëx in the east, L'Aiguillon-sur-Vie in the south, Givrand in the west and south-west and Le Fenouiller in the west and north-west.
