Saint-Julien-des-Landes is a French village with 1,773 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Les Sables d'Olonne and the canton of Talmont-Saint-Hilaire (until 2015: canton of La Mothe-Achard ). The inhabitants are called Landais .
geography
Saint-Julien-des-Landes is about 21 kilometers west of La Roche-sur-Yon and about 17 kilometers north-northeast of Les Sables-d'Olonne on the Jaunay , which forms the northern municipal boundary. Saint-Julien-des-Landes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Chapelle-Hermier in the north, Martinet in the east and northeast, Saint-Georges-de-Pointindoux in the east, La Mothe-Achard in the southeast, La Chapelle-Achard in the south and southeast , Vairé in the south and west and Landevieille in the west.
