Le Champ-Saint-Père is a French village with 1,837 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Les Sables d'Olonne and the canton of Mareuil-sur-Lay-Dissais (until 2015: canton of Moutiers-les-Mauxfaits ). The inhabitants are called Pérois .
geography
Le Champ-Saint-Père is located about 18 kilometers south-southeast of La Roche-sur-Yon . Here the Yon flows into the Lay , which forms the eastern boundary of the municipality. The Graon with its lakes ( Lac du Graon ), however, forms the western boundary of the municipality. Le Champ-Saint-Père is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chaillé-sous-les-Ormeaux in the north, Rosnay in the north and north-east, La Bretonnière-la-Claye in the east and south-east and Saint-Vincent-sur-Graon in the south and west.
