The Yon is a river in France that runs in the Vendée department in the Pays de la Loire region . It rises in the municipality of Saint-Martin-des-Noyers , initially drains to the northwest, then turns to the south and flows into the Lay as a right tributary after a total of 56 kilometers at Noailles , in the municipality of Le Champ-Saint-Père .
