Li Bun-hui

Li Bun-hui (born December 29, 1968 ) is a North Korean table tennis player who won bronze in women's singles and silver in doubles at the 1992 Olympics. She was also twice vice world champion.

International success

From 1983 to 1993, Li Bun-hui was nominated six times for world championships . In 1989 and 1991 she reached the final, which she lost to the Chinese Qiao Hong and Deng Yaping . She won bronze with Cho Jong-hui in doubles in 1987 and Kim Song-hui in mixed in 1991. With the North Korean team, she finished second in 1985 and 1993 . When an all-Korean team took on in 1991, they belonged to the world championship team.

At the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, ​​she won the individual bronze medal behind Deng Yaping and Qiao Hong from China. She lost to Qiao Hong in the semi-finals. She also took bronze in doubles with Yu Sun-bok .
