La Guérinière is a French commune with 1,347 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Vendée department of the Pays de la Loire region . La Guérinière belongs to the Arrondissement of Les Sables-d'Olonne and the canton of Saint-Jean-de-Monts (until 2015: canton of Noirmoutier-en-l'Île ). The inhabitants are called Guernerins .

La Guérinière is located in the middle of the Île de Noirmoutier in the Atlantic . In the north and northwest of La Guérinière is the neighboring municipality of L'Épine and in the east and southeast of the municipality of Barbâtre .
