Notre-Dame-de-Riez is a French commune with 2,099 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire . Notre-Dame-de-Riez belongs to the arrondissement of Les Sables-d'Olonne and the canton of Saint-Jean-de-Monts (until 2015: canton of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie ). The municipality is a member of the Pays de Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie municipal association .
