Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche is a French commune with 2,212 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Les Sables d'Olonne and the canton of Talmont-Saint-Hilaire (until 2015: canton of La Mothe-Achard ). The inhabitants are called Bellolocustres .
geography
Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche is about fourteen kilometers west of La Roche-sur-Yon and about 23 kilometers northeast of Les Sables-d'Olonne on the Jaunay . Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Aizenay in the north, Venansault in the east, Landeronde in the southeast, Saint-Georges-de-Pointindoux in the south and Martinet in the west and southwest.
