Town Hall (Mairie) of Curzon

Curzon is a French municipality with 513 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Les Sables d'Olonne and the canton of Mareuil-sur-Lay-Dissais (until 2015: canton of Moutiers-les-Mauxfaits ). The inhabitants are called Curzonnais .

geography

Curzon is located about 26 kilometers south-southeast of La Roche-sur-Yon and about 36 kilometers east-southeast of Les Sables-d'Olonne . The Lay forms the eastern boundary of the municipality. Curzon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Cyr-en-Talmondais in the north and west, Lairoux in the east and Saint-Benoist-sur-Mer in the south and southwest.
