Longeville-sur-Mer is located on the Côte de Lumière on the French Atlantic coast . Longeville-sur-Mer is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Avrillé in the north, Le Bernard in the north and northeast, Angles in the east and southeast, La Tranche-sur-Mer in the south and southeast, Saint-Vincent-sur-Jard in the west and Saint- Hilaire-la-Forêt in the north-west.
