Mount Theaker is a 1685 m high mountain on the Oates coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises on the northern flank of the Robilliard Glacier , about 5 km northeast of Mount Simmonds in the Usarp Mountains .
The area was mapped by surveys of the United States Geological Survey and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1962 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain in 1970 after Paul R. Theaker, biologist of the United States Antarctic Research Program on the McMurdo Station from 1967 to 1968.
