Oree d'Anjou is a French municipality with 16,025 inhabitants in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Angers and the canton of La Pommeraye . The inhabitants are called Oréens .

It was established on December 15, 2015 as Commune nouvelle from the commune of Champtoceaux and the surrounding communes of Bouzillé , Drain , Landemont , Liré , Saint-Christophe-la-Couperie , Saint-Laurent-des-Autels , Saint-Sauveur-de-Landemont and La Varenne formed.

Orée d'Anjou is the westernmost municipality in the Maine-et-Loire department. It is located about 16 kilometers northeast of Cholet and belongs to the Anjou wine region . The Loire limits the municipality to the north.
