La Séguinière is a French commune with 4,150 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Cholet and the canton of Saint-Macaire-en-Mauges (until 2015: canton of Cholet-1 ). The inhabitants are called Zinierois .

geography

La Séguinière is four kilometers west of Cholet in the Mauges countryside on the Moine River . La Séguinière is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bégrolles-en-Mauges in the north, Saint-Léger-sous-Cholet in the north-east, Cholet in the east, Saint-Christophe-du-Bois in the south, La Romagne in the south-west and Sèvremoine in the west and north-west.

The national route 249 runs through the municipality .
