The Agglomération du Choletais is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté d'agglomération in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . It was founded on December 15, 2016 and comprises 26 parishes. The administrative headquarters are located in Cholet .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

Despite the similarity of the name to one of the predecessor organizations, it is a new establishment with a different legal personality.
