The Agglomeration community of Cholet (CAC) is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté d'agglomération in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . It was founded on December 31, 2000 and comprised 14 parishes. The administrative seat was in the place Cholet .

Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2016, the municipality of Bégrolles-en-Mauges moved from the former communal association Communauté de communes du Center-Mauges to the CA du Choletais.

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged

and so formed the successor organization Agglomération du Choletais . Despite the similarity of names, it is a start-up with a different legal personality.
