Saint-Christophe-du-Bois is a French commune with 2,755 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Cholet and the canton of Saint-Macaire-en-Mauges (until 2015: canton of Cholet-3 ). The inhabitants are called Christophoriens .

geography

Saint-Christophe-du-Bois is located about six kilometers southwest of Cholet in the Mauges countryside . The Moine limits the community in the north. Saint-Christophe-du-Bois is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of La Séguinière in the north, Cholet in the east and northeast, Mortagne-sur-Sèvre in the south (and its district of Évrunes in the southwest), Sèvremoine in the west and La Romagne in the northwest.
