Beaupréau-en-Mauges is a French municipality with 23,228 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Cholet and the canton of Beaupréau . The inhabitants are called Bellopratains .
The municipality was established as Commune nouvelle with effect from December 15, 2015 from the former municipalities of Andrezé , Beaupréau , La Chapelle-du-Genêt , Gesté , Jallais , La Jubaudière , Le Pin-en-Mauges , La Poitevinière , Saint-Philbert-en -Mauges and Villedieu-la-Blouère , all of which come from the former Communauté de communes du Center-Mauges . The formerly independent municipalities have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative seat is in Beaupréau.

geography
Beaupréau-en-Mauges is located about 17 kilometers north-north-west of the city center of Cholet in the Mauges countryside and on the river Èvre .
Community partnerships
The German municipalities Münsingen in Baden-Württemberg and Feldkirchen-Westerham in Bavaria (via the Jallais part of the municipality ) as well as with the British municipality Abergavenny and the Romanian municipality Posești exist.
