The Canton Beaupréau is a French constituency in Arrondissement of Cholet , in the department of Maine-et-Loire and the region Pays de la Loire ; its main town is Beaupréau-en-Mauges . Gilles Leroy ( UDI ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Department since 2008 . With the reorganization of the cantons, Françoise Pagerit ( DVD ) has been added as a representative since 2015 .

Until the state-wide reorganization of the cantons in 2015, the canton of Beaupréau consisted of twelve municipalities on an area of 169.60 km²: Andrezé , Beaupréau (main town), Bégrolles-en-Mauges , La Chapelle-du-Genêt , Gesté , Jallais , La Jubaudière , Le May-sur-Èvre , Le Pin-en-Mauges , La Poitevinière , Saint-Philbert-en-Mauges and Villedieu-la-Blouère . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 4906.
