The Canton Thouarcé is a former Canton in Arrondissement of Angers in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire in France . The main town was the former municipality of Thouarcé . In 2015, the canton was closed as part of a reorganization and the communes were divided between the cantons of Chemillé-Melay and Les Ponts-de-Cé .
