The Canton Saumur-Nord was by 2015 a French constituency in Arrondissement of Saumur , in the department of Maine-et-Loire and the region Pays de la Loire . Its main town was Saumur .
In the course of the reorganization in 2015, the canton was dissolved and most of its municipalities were assigned to the canton Longué-Jumelles . Only the fragmented parts of the municipality of Saumur were combined in the newly named canton of Saumur .
